Commodity Supplemental Food Program - Federal nutrition program from the State of Nevada works to improve the health of low-income pregnant and breastfeeding women, other new mothers up to one year postpartum, infants, children up to age six, and elderly people age 60 years and older. Food Distribution Program (Food Bank) - Human Services partners with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada to provide monthly non-perishable food distribution in each of the four primary Lyon County communities. Applications are available at each location and Lyon County Human Services.

Women Infants Children (WIC) - Women, Infants, and Children is a program designed to improve the health of Nevada women, infants, and children who are eligible for the program by providing supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education, and other health and social services.
