Community Roots & Shoots is our self-sustaining nonprofit, allowing us to help support other programs in the Dayton area. We focus largely on youth empowerment through the Nursery, Farmers Market, and School Gardens. We have learned never to underestimate the power of youth; they continue to amaze us with their accomplishments.

Healthy Communities Coalition is a grassroots partnership that mobilizes, shares and collaborates for health so that everyone has opportunities to grow, live, and learn.

Our key programs focus on prevention, health care, workforce development, and food security. They include the Nevada Community Health Worker Association, Behavioral Health, Community Roots & Shoots Nursery, Dayton Farmers Market, Safe School Professionals, and Food Pantries.
